2025 in Review: A Year of Growth, Education, and Building at Hodl Hodl
As we close out 2025, we’re thrilled to reflect on the incredible journey that Team Hodl Hodl has been on. From traveling across continents to educate, connect, and collaborate with the global Bitcoin community, to expanding our platform and services, this year marked a period of meaningful growth, learning, and progress.
Spreading Education and Awareness
Throughout the year, our team actively participated in conferences, meetups, and community events around the world, including:

Expanding Our Platform and Services
2025 was also a year of strong product and ecosystem growth for Hodl Hodl. Our focus remained on accessibility, resilience, and trustless financial tools. Over the past year, we:
- Expanded global access by supporting 431 payment methods and 60 currencies, making it easier for users worldwide to buy and sell Bitcoin.
- Deepened our reach in the Global South, with a strong presence in Latin America and growing traction across Africa, where demand for peer-to-peer financial infrastructure continues to rise.
- Scaled Lend at Hodl Hodl, adding support for new blockchains to facilitate loans—unlocking more ways for users to lend and borrow Bitcoin while preserving our commitment to security, transparency, and self-custody.
Baltic Honeybadger: A Legendary Chapter
In 2025, we proudly organized the 8th edition of the Baltic Honeybadger conference. While there won’t be a Baltic Honeybadger in 2026, we’re deeply grateful for the years of collaboration, ideas, and friendships that grew from it. Bringing the Bitcoin community together has been a privilege, and we look forward to supporting other conferences and grassroots initiatives in the year ahead.
Looking Ahead: Our Roadmap
As we prepare for the next chapter, our focus remains on building practical, user-first Bitcoin tools. Highlights from our upcoming roadmap include:
- Layer 2 support via ARKADE integration, expanding functionality and scalability
- Mobile app development, delivering a seamless and secure experience on the go
- Continued regional expansion, bringing Hodl Hodl to new markets and communities
